Foss Conservation Session: Sessions Nature Reserve, Haxby Road
Help us manage Sessions Nature Reserve. The River Foss flows through the site as well as the original historic channel. In this session, we will be clearing some red dogwood from within the pond. Please let us know your wader size (shoe size) by emailing maria@stnicks.org.uk or wear some wellies on the day.
The entrance to the site is a small gate on Haxby Road, which is just next to the 'Welcome to New Earsick' sign near the Conservation Action for Nature site (CAN land). What3words: https://what3words.com/sits.dreams.verge. It can be tricky to spot if you haven't been before so if you're not sure where to go or you have any problems on the day, call Maria on 07912432826.
Outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear recommended.
This is a drop in session so no need to book!
