St Nicks Wildlife

St Nicholas Fiels is home to a wide variety of plants, animals and insects.

If you are interested in surveying, our Wildwatch group welcomes new members at any or no level of expertise. If you can’t tell a house sparrow from a golden eagle or a dandelion from a spotted orchid, but would like to find out, we would love to meet you. We are building a database of the different species living on St Nicks and we need to perform surveys of the wildlife present. Your help would be much appreciated. Whether you are just keen or an expert on wildlife, we would love to welcome you to this group. The group meets on Wednesday mornings 10am at the Environment Centre for a walk through the reserve. Join in!

If you have any photos or sightings, we'd love to hear about it! Send us a message on social media or use the form on our Citizen Science page.
