Himalayan balsam removal: River Ouse - Fulford Ings

Join us at Fulford Ings and help to improve the area by pulling out invasive plant, Himalayan balsam. Balsam can completely dominate an area, creating a monoculture which diminishes our all important biodiversity. By removing balsam, we are minimising it's spread across our watercourses and greenspaces and making room for native wildflowers and plants which, in turn, support other species like bees, butterflies and water voles.

This session will take place at Fulford Ings, meeting at the University Boathouse (w3w: organ.lamp.fuels) . The session is suitable for groups of 5-20 people. If your group is bigger than this, please get in touch and we will see what we can do.
