Help us to establish wildflower areas at Fordlands Road Playing Field. This is formally amenity grassland but we are hoping to improve the wildlife value of the site by introducing more wildflower species, improving overall biodiversity. The activity will involve digging out patches of earth so the soil is exposed (inverting) and then sowing the area with a wildflower seed mix.
There are no facilities on site, the nearest public toilets are at the Designer Outlet. The session is suitable for groups of 5-12 people. If your group is bigger than this, please get in touch and we will see what we can do.
