Schools, visits & children’s clubs

Our safe, task-based activities are a chance to learn in our nature reserve, a green space near you, online or in your school or organisation. We offer a range of sessions for different ages, including Forest School activities and school visits. Learn new nature-based skills like willow weaving, have fun building a den or going on a scavenger hunt and more. You can also learn about the climate crisis and we will help you to make practical changes that help the environment too, like reusing and recycling things.

Themes and activities include:

  • Land use and wildlife:  minibeast hunts, nature trails exploring the history of St Nicks from mediaeval meadows to brickyards, then to landfill and now a nature reserve
  • Zero waste & sustainable materials: waste auditing, recycled crafts
  • Zero carbon: games about climate change, green building training, energy auditing

Schools, other organisations and individuals  may also be interested in our Green Influencers project for children 10 – 14 years old.

Children and families may be interested in our Nature Adventurers sessions.
