Our Wastebusters came 12th in their miniature nature reserve on wheels in the Micklegate Run Soapbox Challenge on the Bank Holiday Monday. Flowery driver Stuart was supported by his team bees in beating last year’s time with a very good 37s. However, the competition was a lot tougher this year with just seconds in between the top ten teams so we’re very proud of the team and their buzzing achievement. It sure was a fun way to celebrate our 20th anniversary as a charity and there is still time to support the team by making a donation to St Nicks. All donations are much appreciated, thank you!

Back in July our Outreach Officer Ivana Jakubkova took part in “York Pechakucha 20×20” on the topic of Fabric of the City.
