Another fine dancing and fundraising evening was had at the English Martyrs thanks to the brilliant FiddlersWreck Ceilidh Band who had more than 100 dancers enjoying their tunes. This year’s annual Ceilidh happily coincided with Valentine’s Day and marked The Climate Coalition’s #ShowtheLove campaign – see the campaign video and more pictures from the night below.

Big thanks go to all who helped us raise over £800 on the day, especially the local businesses that supported the event by kindly donating prizes:  York Gin Company, Waitrose & Partners, Melton’s Restaurant, The Bishy Weigh, Choc Affair and White Rose Tango. Special thanks go to Illingworths Insurance & Financial Services for kindly sponsoring the event again and to all volunteer helpers including Lewis Outing who took great photos!

We now have a new way to support us, beside using our Donate page – you can text STNICKS to 70085 to donate £1, or add a number up to 20 to give more, e.g. STNICKS5. This costs your donation plus a standard message rate. All donations, big or small, are much appreciated.
