New Vice Chair: Sarah Middleton

Sarah New Vice Chair

Hot on the heels of our new Chair, Sarah Middleton is our new Vice Chair, having recently acted as interim VC.

A local resident, Sarah takes a keen interest in the environment and living sustainably. Drawing from her experiences of marketing and communications, she has supported the St Nicks Board of Trustees since 2019.

Sarah says:

“Having first become aware of St. Nicks impressive zero-emissions recycling service when living in town, I was delighted to find St Nicholas Fields Nature Reserve on our doorstep when we moved house. The reserve is a such an important green space in York, not only for the biodiversity it nurtures and fosters, but as a space we can all use to connect with nature.”

“I am very excited to take on this role, especially working alongside such an incredibly passionate team of staff and enthusiastic team of Trustees. I am delighted to have the opportunity to help in the outstanding work St Nicks does, ensuring that our community benefits for many years to come.”

We look forward to hearing more from Sarah and welcome her warmly into her new role during this challenging yet exciting time.
