We can organise tours of St Nicks Nature Reserve and Environment Centre for groups of five or more, and tailor it to the wishes of the group. Tours are usually between 1 and 1.5 hours long, and include a talk at the Environment Centre about the history and wildlife of St Nicks, the green features of the building and the charity’s projects. The talk is followed by a gentle walk through the nature reserve on easy access footpaths. Tours can include an extended talk on particular subjects such as wildife, recycling or composting.
We can come to you instead! It is better to see St Nicks for yourself but we can give a presentation about what we do to your group at a venue of your choice. Talks usually cover the same topics as a tour (see above) but can be tailored to your group’s wishes, and are accompanied by a photo slideshow.
Standard charge: a retiring collection at the end of the talk or £30 for a 30-45 minute talk followed by a Q&A session (plus travel costs if applicable – our speakers cycle whenever possible).
Please contact us for further details and bookings. If your group cannot afford the charges, we may be able to reduce or waive them through a reciprocal arrangement.
