Waste from 100 cups of coffee equivalent - which is better?

Are you looking for practical tips to make a difference for the environment in your everyday life? Would you like to meet people with similar interests and values?

Pop along to share personal experiences and strategies for going zero waste over a cup of tea or coffee and maybe a slice of cake! You can also use this unique opportunity to drop off for recycling any TerraCycle items we collect and used bicycle inner tubes.

Zero Waste—reducing waste, reusing, redesigning products, composting and recycling—is the fastest, easiest and cost-effective way in which a community can reduce its negative impacts on our environment. We hope to adopt new behaviours in our homes, work and social lives through which we minimise the amount of waste we produce. The goal is to produce zero waste.

Zero Waste York was started by St Nicks in order to create a place in York where all interested in reducing their impact on the environment can ask questions, exchange and share their waste-busting tips, ideas and inspiration. The idea is to create a strong, growing and inspirational community. Join us on Facebook, or at this live event with St Nicks, IamReusable and Bishy Weigh.
