TTA event header - world in hands

Ta(l)king Action allows people to discuss the climate crisis, pledge to make positive changes, share knowledge and connect with one another. Please book via Eventbrite in order to receive online/Zoom joining instructions.

There are many ways to reduce our carbon emissions and restore nature; we all need to employ as many possible to get to a zero carbon future. Tree planting is probably best known as a way of working with nature to store carbon but there are many more and in some situations better ones. This month we will be looking at nature-based solutions to the climate emergency, which provide lots of other benefits for both people and planet.

Join us to hear from inspiring speakers on how their organisations or they themselves are tackling the issue, ask questions , exchange tips, review previous pledges and consider your own actions.

Speakers TBC:

After presentations and questions, we will break into small groups for further discussions in a friendly and supportive atmosphere, make our action pledges and make (new)connections with like-minded people. You can view pledges from our previous events here. What will yours be?

Booking essential via Eventbrite.

This monthly event series is a collaboration between St Nicks, Speak Carbon and Oak Tree Sustainable Living Centre. Other organisations as well as individuals aiming for a zero carbon future are warmly invited to join in and share.
