What participants say about our family sessions:
“It’s so nice seeing her playing in nature and getting muddy.”
“He’s noticing birds and squirrels before we do!!”
“Like when you go to the sea and you feel good for having sea air I feel really good now for having green air!”
“A muddy childhood spent in the fields and rivers of Yorkshire, adopting pet bugs and practicing tree climbing, proved a good foundation for becoming a forest school practitioner. I learnt the basics of bushcraft at an early age and love passing these skills on to the young people in and around York. I love exploring and adventuring in the outdoors, practicing bushcraft skills, cooking in the wild and foraging from the hedgerows.”
Christine is a qualified forest school practitioner with over 15 years of experience in nature-based education. She works with schools, children and families to explore the world around us, learning and discovering along the way.
