We’re holding a family event to celebrate National Meadows Day –  come and learn about wildflowers and the importance of the insects that they attract.

Join us in the wildflower meadow near the play area for activities for all ages, where you can:

* watch storytelling fun with finger puppets
* explore our meadow looking for bumblebees and butterflies
* learn all about meadow wildflowers such as the bizarrely named “bacon and eggs”
* help us test how healthy our meadow is, and
* make bee hotels to take home for your garden or yard

Activities will run throughout the afternoon from 1-4pm with no set schedule, so pop along whenever you like! Refreshments will be available.

Free entry, no booking needed
