This will be a Curry Club night with a difference – after a delicious meal provided by Mirchiz Restaurant, we will be entertained by an international dancer Céline Pradeu-Kanagasabai. Celine calls her dance style ‘Bharatemporary’, it being a fusion of Indian classical dance ‘Bharatanatyam’ and contemporary dance, with elements of western classical style thrown in. She will be in York as the guest of the Indian Cultural Association. While the Lord Mayor cannot attend this event due to being away, we will be joined by the Sheriff and Sheriff’s Lady.

Doors will open at 7pm and the meal will be served at 7.30pm, followed by the Indian dancing. Soft drinks will be available but please bring your own alcohol if you wish to. All proceeds go to the Lord Mayor’s Charities: St Nicks, York Racial Equality Network, York LGBT Forum and York Civic Trust.
