‘Light Returns’ to Beat the Winter Blues (2)

Tue 23 Feb 2021 at 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Please Register for this event through the Eventbrite link by 19th February:

Exploring the theme ‘Planting Seeds of Light & Hope’, together we will make a tealight candle holder, decorated with natural resources, share nature poetry (to be provided), explore reflective questions for the new year & plant seeds to nurture over the coming months. Bring in some light and join us for what’s sure to be a fun and creative session. It might just be the February pick me up you’re looking for!

We’d like to welcome anyone affected by the pandemic, especially those feeling isolated, shielding and in need of social connection. No previous arts or crafts experience are necessary.

Prior to the workshop, we suggest gathering any craft materials you might already have at home including string, glue, glue brush, scissors, tealights, pen & paper for any (optional) reflective writing during the session. We also recommend looking in your recycling box to find ‘up-cycling craft treasures’ such as jam jars or different types of paper. We’re happy to provide some additional craft materials if required.

Free entry – For delivery of additional craft items the event is geographically limited to York residents only with 5 mile radius of the city centre. Last date of registration for delivery of items is 19/02/21
