Informal evening at Spark: York to share tips and experiences of eco home retrofitting, with St Nicks and York Community Energy. Booking via Eventbrite.
Eco home retrofitting can increase comfort, reduce energy bills and carbon footprint – if done well. There is more to energy efficiency than sticking some insulation or heat pump in though, and it can be tricky to get started or to resolve issues along the way. This evening is aimed at all home owners either starting out or anywhere along their retrofit journey such as previous York Open Eco Homes participants. Come along to:
Join in conversations on how we can reduce our dependency on fossil fuels and contribute as citizens to York’s pledge to reduce its climate impact. Only around a third of York homes are well insulated while a third of York’s carbon emissions comes from heating and powering our homes. Together we can try to do something about it and help each other along the way.
Free entry, thanks to SPARK York kindly hosting the event. Please book ahead via Eventbrite to help us manage numbers for Covid safety.
