Over the summer holidays (between 25th July-31st Auguest) we are offering children’s activities every WEDNESDAY 2-5pm at Derwenthorpe development in Osbaldwick (YO10 3NP), as part of our Derwenthorpe Wildwatch project. We also have St Nicks Nature Explorers sessions taking place on TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS 1-4pm.

Meet outside the Derwenthorpe Super Sustainable Centre to discover the wonders of nature through a variety of hands-on activities. Have a go at pond dipping, minibeast hunts, making bug hotels, balsam bashing and more!

Free activities for 4-12 year olds. Under 8’s must be accompanied; parental consent required for all children. These sessions are kindly supported by the Improving Communities for Children Fund of the City of York Council

If you can, stay for the whole session but it’s also fine to come for just an hour or two. You will be asked to register at your first session and then you can drop in to as many or few as you like. If you are running late on the day, please call Maria on 07542 070466 to find the group.
