Colder Than Here: one act play
Sat 18 May 2019 at 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
St Nicks Environment Centre, Rawdon Avenue, York, YO10 3ST
St Nicks is proud to host Next Door But One theatre company who present:
Myra is busy off work with dying, Alec is trying to get the boiler fixed, Harriet is eating cous cous in burial grounds and Jenna is doing what she’s always done…being Jenna.
Laura Wade’s witty and poignant look at terminal illness, shows what happens to the dynamics of a family when the coldest of afflictions sets in.
The one act play explores death, dying and grief and is therefore headlining York’s Dead Good Festival, which will connect audience members to other workshops and presentation on end of life care, funeral planning, will writing and bereavement services.
Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, the company is able to offer tickets as ‘Pay What You Feel’ with all proceeds going to St Leonard’s Hospice.
