Did you know that a single bat can eat 2,000 insects per night? Come and learn more about these fascinating mammals from Phil of Green Underwing who will introduce you to the amazing world of bats. He will cover topics such as their biology, ecology and behaviour, as well as some of the threats facing bats and how you can help your local bats thrive. An exciting walk with bat detectors is included so bring warm clothing, a torch and sensible footwear!

The event is scheduled as an early start to the International Bat Night weekend, and is supported by the People’s Postcode Trust.
