St Nicks turns twenty as a registered charity in March 2018 – join us in starting off the year’s celebrations with a treasure hunt, nature walks, reminiscing over archive photos and sharing stories of turning an old rubbish tip into a thriving nature reserve. There’ll be short speeches from 1:30pm, plus tea & cake too!

Ask York flierNEW:

From 3-4pm we will be hosting Two Rivers Radio‘s Ask York debate:

  • How do you want to see York develop?
  • What is your vision for the future of York?
  • The city has just been ranked the best place to live in the UK by the Sunday Times – but does that mean it should stay the same?
  • How should the city address the challenges it faces, from congestion and pollution to lack of affordable housing and retail decline?

Panelists:

Cllr Denise Craghill (Green Party), Cllr Andrew Waller (Lib Dem and Environment Portfolio holder), Cllr Keith Myers (Conservative; Exec Member for Education, Children and Young People) and Ivana Jakubkova of St Nicks

The programme will be chaired by Sir John Lawton, CBE FRS, President of Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.

The programme will be recorded as live and broadcast on Two Rivers Radio on Monday 26 March 2-3pm and 7-8pm.
