Bird watching

St Nicks Wildwatch group welcomes new members at any or no level of expertise. If you can’t tell a house sparrow from a golden eagle or a dandelion from a spotted orchid, but would like to find out, we would love to meet you. We are building a database of the different species living on St Nicks and we need to perform surveys of the wildlife present. Your help would be much appreciated. Whether you are just keen or an expert on wildlife, we would love to hear from you.

Please see the Wildlife pages and the group’s blog posts for more details of what you are likely to see here, and our Events page for upcoming guided walks and other nature events. The group usually meets on Wednesday mornings 10am at the Environment Centre for a walk through the reserve and a cup of tea afterwards. Join in!
