What a lovely night that was! Even a broken arm didn’t stop one of the dancers from having a great time at our annual Ceilidh held on 24th February at the beautiful Guildhall. Donations, sales of drinks, cakes and crafts made by Eco-Crafters, as well as generous sponsorship by our insurers Illingworths have all contributed to generating around £650 for the charity.

Many heartfelt thanks go to all who have helped to make the night the great success and fun it was, including the Lord Mayor Dave Taylor and the Civic Party who supported the event. A special mention goes to the brilliant band FiddlersWreck and Novalux LED who helped us find and install lighting for the event.

You’ll find more pictures from the night on our volunteer photographer Lewis Outing’s website and his little video below will give you an idea of the great atmosphere on the night. We hope it will encourage you to come along next year!
